The sculpture consists of two identical forms that explore the transformation between horizontal and vertical space. The objects are clad in smooth plywood panels that express the forms' silhouettes. The interior surfaces are wrapped with 1 x 4 wood flooring to provide a dense and repetitive texture that demonstrates the transformation of space. Each tube, open at its ends, is 26'-0" long, varying in width between 11'-0" and 3'-0" and varying in height between 4'-8" and 10'-4". The end condition of the tube is the inverse of its opposite end, framing the view in two different ways, one horizontal and the other vertical.
