The single-family residence is designed to provide a modern solution to a typical development property.  Because of the small footprint permitted by zoning constraints, the project provides an open plan at the ground level to create a more expansive area for the main living spaces.  The stair, open kitchen and structural beam become sculptural elements in this main space.  

The second level consists of two bedrooms (or a study and bedroom) separated by closets and wet rooms.  The third level contains the master suite with a small office space to take advantage of the view westward towards the Puget Sound and Olympic Peninsula.
